Handspun Hope
Our Handspun Hope Project was established in February 2008. Through the raising and sheering of sheep we will produce beautiful handcrafted products from our handspun yarn that is dyed using natural, indigenous plants found in Rwanda.
During the summer of 2009 we were excited to have Linda LaBelle of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, join one of our mission teams. Linda is a weaver, dyer, fiber expert, author and owner of The Yarn Tree. Linda is committed to working with small yarn producers, even dealing directly with the sheep farms and working with hand-dyers.
