Saveline is forty-seven years old and the mother of six daughters and one son. For the first time, her school-aged children will attend school in January 2009. Prior to being part of the Bake the Cycle program, Saveline and her children were living in a tiny one-room house constructed of banana leaves. For the first time Saveline now has shoes. She praises God for what He has done in her life and is excited about her future. She is thrilled about gaining some weight and being able to purchase lotion and soap. Every morning before beginning work, one of the other widows is teaching Saveline how to read and write.
