Domina has been a widow for ten years and is the mother of five children. Her school-aged children will begin attending school in January 2009. Domina lives very far from the bakery but is greatful to have a job with her new sisters. Her oldest son. who is no longer school-age, comes to work with her and is learning how to make bread. Domina moved into her house before the windows and doors were installed because she was so excited about having a home to call her own. She says her life was bad but now it is so good. Domina's favorite bible verse is Psalm 23:1, "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want."
